CarNetNepal 13th Annual General Assembly (AGA) held on 11 September, 2017 in the presence of CarNetNepal Members, Board, Staff and Donor’s representatives. During the program CarNetNepal’s 2016/17 Fiscal Year (FY) progress report was presented by the CarNetNepal Secretary, Beni Bahadur Karki and Financial report by the CarNetNepal Treasurer, Shanta Kumar Bhandari.
Chief Guest of the program, Melody Moshkowski, Country Director of Samaritan’s Purse Nepal congratulate CarNetNepal team members for their contribution in the past years to bring fruit full results in the present. From the bible verse 1 Corinthians 15: 50-58, Moshkowski encouraged CarNetNepal to remain steadfast for what it has been called to, protect the children at risk and restore them for the glory of God. CarNetNepal Executive Director, Bhabindra Rai, presented the new FY 2017/18 program and budget and urge everyone to stand along with CarNetNepal to achieve the goals of restoring the children holistically.
In the 13th AGA CarNetNepal General Assembly members elected it’s new Executive Committee (EC) Members. In the Leadership of Rev. Samuel Sodemba other eight members are appointed for 3 years to oversee the overall projects, provide direction and guidance to help CarNetNepal achieve it’s vision. The Election Officer, Kailash Man Shasankar expressed his gratitude to the former executive members for their contribution and congratulate the newly elected EC members.
The newly elected EC memberes are Rev. Samuel Sodemba (Chairperson), Sagar Baizu (Vice- Chairperson), Beni Bahadur Karki (Secretary), Uma Shrestha (Treasurer), Prem Bdr. Subba (Member), Sharad Acharya (Member), Jonah Yonjan (Member), Menuka Thulung (Member) and Kriti Thakur Pariyar (Member).
