In February, CarNetNepal has re-formed two Child Clubs in Tadi Rural Municipality, Nuwakot; Shree Ralukadevi Child Club with16 members (Boys: 8, Girls: 8) and Shree Sundara Child Club with 20 members (Boys: 9, Girls: 11).
According to the members of the Child Clubs, before the intervention of CarNetNepal both the Child Clubs were in existence but in the verge of close down, as they have not been train and monitor by the organization who have formed them before.After the reformation CarNetNepal have provided orientation classes on Child Club activities to the Child Club Members and assisted them in making their monthly action plan.
CarNetNepal is providing these Child Clubs with training on Child Protection issues such as Child Right, Child Abuse, and Child Trafficking. The Child Clubs are now actively involving themselves in bringing social awareness on Child Physical and Sexual Abuse and other Child Protection issues in their schools and soon planning to intervene in their community as well.
