CarNetNepal has started 3 months tailoring training for the women of Shikherbesi, Nuwakot from 17th November, 2017. 10 women fromDalit (so called lower caste), poor, vulnerable and marginalized community ofShikherbesi are selected for the prgramme.
The training is running in ‘PrabidhikTathaByabasayik (Technical and Business) Training Center’,Dhunge, Nuwakot. The training aims to provide the women skills to generate their own income and empower them to protect themselves from possible trafficking situation.
According to Ms. Chameli Sunuwar, tailoring Trainer, “After the completion of the training they are able to run their own tailoring shop in their home town or work as an assistant trainer in any tailoring institute.”
